NEC and National Caucus meetings of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will take place the following month.
Festus Fuanter, the acting national secretary of the APC, announced the meetings would be held on August 2 and 3, respectively, on the party’s Twitter account on Friday night.
Following the resignations of its former national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, and the national secretary, Iyiola Omisore, the ruling party cancelled the meetings that were originally scheduled for July 17 and 18.
The national caucus meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 6 o’clock sharp, according to the statement. Abuja’s Presidential Villa’s Banquet Hall is the location. Taking notice of the meeting in accordance with APC Constitutional Article 12.5, all National Caucus Members are hereby invited.
But the NEC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 3 at 11 a.m. sharp in the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. In accordance with article 12.3 of the APC Constitution, all members of the National Executive Committee are hereby invited to attend.
