The Ibadan Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) announced on Wednesday that three online fraudsters had been found guilty and sentenced.
Afolabi Gbolahan, Gbolahan Sodiq Atanda, and Saheed Ayomide Rabiu are the three men who were convicted.

Rabiu and Atanda were found guilty by Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo of the Federal High Court in Abeokuta, while Justice Uche Agomo of the Federal High Court in Ibadan sentenced Afolabi to prison on an amended one-count charge brought against him by the Federal High Court in Ibadan.
The trio was found guilty of false impersonation, which is a violation of Section 22 (2)(b)(1) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, and etc.) Act, and sentenced to imprisonment.
Afolabi was sentenced to seven months in prison, while Rabiu and Atanda were each sentenced to one and three months in prison, according to the court.
