AFCON 2023: Cote D’Ivoire Welcomes the Super Eagles

Ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, which kicks off on Saturday, January 13, 2023, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have touched down at the Aéroport International Felix Houphouet Boigny d’Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.

Ahmed Musa was the captain of the team.

According to PUNCH, the national team left for Cote D’Ivoire early on Wednesday morning following a dinner held at the State House, Marina, Lagos, on Tuesday, which was hosted by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The Moroccan squad Atlas Lions arrived in Cote d’Ivoire for the event earlier than any other team except the one from the host country.

Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Egypt, and other national teams have arrived for the competition.
