Governor of Osun State Ademola Adeleke has denied allegations that he disparaged President Bola Tinubu in relation to the state’s upcoming local elections.
The people should ignore the deceptive information, he said, calling the reports untrue.
Speaking to reporters following his vote on Saturday, Governor Adeleke noted that the local government elections were made possible by President Tinubu’s adherence to the rule of law. He underlined that democratic practices have been reinforced at all governmental levels by the President’s dedication to democratic ideals.
“Let me affirm that I know Mr. President to be a true democrat, a lover of the rule of law, and a believer in the sanctity of the judicial process,” in a statement sent by his spokeswoman, Olawale Rasheed, the governor added.

“Regardless of the individuals involved, I am aware that Mr. President will never approve a dictatorial violation of the constitution.” The President would never endorse any action that has the potential to cause chaos and bloodshed, it is important to note.
“We have faith in President Tinubu’s democratic credentials, and we know that he will always insist on the rule of law,” I stated in my second broadcast on Mr. President.
He said he was sure his party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), will win the elections for local government.
