Adamu, APC Governors meet in Abuja to discuss the “Naira Crisis”

At the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, an urgent meeting of governors who are supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently taking place.

The meeting was called by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the APC, to discuss campaign-related issues, the naira crisis, and the upcoming presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday.

According to our correspondent, security has been stepped up inside and outside the secretariat as the private meeting is still going on.

Among the governors present at the meeting are Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), Simon Lalong (Plateau), and Mai Mala Buni (Yobe).

“I am happy with the response so far,” Adamu said in his welcome remarks during the opening session. And from what I understand, additional governors are on the way. You probably remember the recent event that made this invitation necessary.
