President Bola Tinubu says his administration is committed to fostering the development of science and technology in the country.
Tinubu made the commitment on Thursday when he was named Grand Patron of Science at the investiture ceremony organised by the Nigerian Academy of Science at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.
The President expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasising the crucial role of science in shaping a nation’s future.
On his part, the President of the Nigerian Academy of Science, Ekanem Braide, premised the conferment on Tinubu’s support for scientific research, education and technological advancements.
