Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isa Koto, the Ohimege Igu, Konto-Nkarfe, was overthrown by the Kogi State Government, led by Governor Yahaya Bello, a first-class traditional leader.
In Niger State’s Rijau Local Government District, the overthrown monarch was likewise exiled.
Alhaji Salihu Akawu Seidu, or SAS, was nominated by state governor Yayaha Bello to succeed Ohimege, who was ousted.
