The 64th National Council on Health will be hosted by the Ekiti State Ministry of Health and Human Services in association with the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
This was said on Thursday during a press conference to honor the program by Dr. Oyebanji Filani, the Ekiti State Commissioner for Health and Human Services.
He claims that more than 800 people from all over the country and the globe will take part in the program, which will take place in the state capital from November 13–17, 2023.
“Building the Resilience and Inclusive Health Care System for a Healthy Nigeria” is a program that aims to review decisions and progress that will impact the country’s health care system and to discuss and address important issues.
Filani states: “Ekiti State stands to gain tremendously from hosting this national meeting as it will engender meaningful cooperation and collaboration with participation, increase revenue for businesses, and stimulate the economy through tourism.”
“The initiative will increase consumer awareness of our brand and contribute significantly to our economy by promoting tourism, hotel stays, and park usage.”
