Breaking: Gridlock as heavily loaded truck falls on Lagos bridge

On the Otedola Bridge, Ojodu Berger, Lagos State, an accident involving a loaded vehicle that has flipped over has taken up a lane.

Due to the Tuesday accident, the bridge at Ojodu Berger is flooded, which has caused traffic to back up on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

But according to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, efforts are being made to get the vehicle off the road.

“A deadly accident involving a heavy, upside-down truck carrying wheat that had taken over a lane of the Otedola bridge inw Ojodu Berger.
In addition to the bridge’s flooded section, traffic is somewhat slow.

Through its X handle, LASTMA stated that efforts were being made to collect the cargo and the truck off the road.
