The governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has promised to assist Mouka Foam Nigeria in growing its clientele in the region.
When the management of Mouka Foam Limited, led by its managing director, Femi Fapohunda, paid him a courtesy visit at the governor’s office in Ibadan on Wednesday, a statement claims that Makinde gave this assurance.
After the meeting, Mr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the governor’s chief press secretary, gave a press conference and said that the governor had promised the team that he would do everything in his power to help the business accomplish its goals.
According to Olanrewaju, the company decided to locate a factory in Ibadan because of the state’s atmosphere and favourable environment.
According to Sulaiman, “The governor hosted a team from Mouka Nigeria and their Moroccan partners, and the focus of the discussion was them setting up a factory in Ibadan.
“They claimed to have travelled the nation and discovered that this location was ideal for their company. They want to build a factory here as a result, and the governor promised to resolve any issues with their request for land to build the factory within two weeks.
“The governor also pledged to provide them with all the assistance they need to realise their dreams. Therefore, it was an extremely successful meeting, and everyone is eager to visit Ibadan as soon as possible.
The governor reportedly added that all hands were on deck to make the state the top choice for investors.
The governor was thanked for the warm welcome by Mouka’s managing director, Femi Fapohunda, who also praised the state for its generosity and support of the company’s operations.
“We have plants in Lagos and Kaduna right now, but they are at capacity, so we are expanding the business, and Ibadan has been very welcoming. We are present today because this is the location of all of our planned investments and expansion, he said.
