The incoming president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, and his wife, Remi, have arrived at the Eagles Square venue in Abuja, the nation’s capital, in preparation for Monday’s inauguration ceremony.
Today, Tinubu will take the oath of office necessary to become the 16th substantive President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, as well as the businessmen Abdulsamad Rabiu, Femi Otedola, and Aliko Dangote, were among the other guests who attended the event.
On Monday morning, the venue of the inauguration of President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was Eagles Square. There were other outgoing ministers, including outgoing ministers in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, who arrived at the venue.
Even though it was raining when they arrived at the venue early on Monday morning, journalists, security personnel, and other support service providers were determined to be there in time for the inauguration, which was scheduled to begin at 10 am.

The men of the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the Paramilitary have begun to march around the square as of 8:50 in the morning while military marches are being played over the loudspeakers.
In addition, the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Professor Akinwumi Adesina, as well as the Emir of Borgu in Niger State, which is the location where Tinubu was awarded the traditional title of Jagaba, are both present.
A number of legislators, such as the Honourable James Faleke, as well as a large number of invited guests, such as Senator Binta Masi Garba, have also arrived at the venue while foreign dignitaries are still being awaited.
