Lagos pregnant woman stabs housekeeper over bag

In the Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, a woman whose identity has not been revealed is suspected of stabbing her domestic worker, Chinasa Anemem, after learning that she disobeyed her directives to wash a bag at their residence around Simeon Oniyimofe Street. The incident reportedly took place in Lagos State.

After committing the act of violence, the woman left Anemem, who was writhing in pain and bleeding profusely at home.

An unnamed neighbor claimed that he saw Anemem writhing in pain and confronted her about it. The neighbor claimed that the woman enjoyed abusing the domestic worker by subjecting her to a variety of cruel and inhumane treatments.

The domestic worker, who was originally from the state of Anambra, revealed this information when she was questioned: “My aunt used a knife to pierce my body because I did not wash a bag.”

Infuriated by the turn of events, the neighbor pulled out his phone and made a video clip showing Anemem chronicling the circumstances surrounding the attack that caused her to bleed profusely at her back. In the clip, Anemem can be seen recounting the events that led up to the assault.

The neighbor was heard in the video clip that had been going viral on social media saying that the woman’s husband had been threatening him for exposing his wife’s actions. The video clip had been trending on social media.

He stated, “This is incredibly unfortunate, and it took place on May 19, 2023.” It is a horrifying thought that some of us will fail as parents and be unable to provide for our families, and that as a result, we will be forced to sell the children that God has given us into slavery.

You can imagine this girl, and this is not the first time it has happened; I am a worried neighbor. It has been happening often. This girl is the victim of inhuman treatment and severe child abuse on a regular basis.

There are times when she is unable to complete the necessary housework, so instead of going to school, she stays home. This is what is going on right now on Adaloko, which is located at no. 18 Simeon Oniyimofe Street in Ojo.

“Instead of expressing gratitude to me, the husband of the woman who stabbed this girl and caused her to suffer a severe wound threatened to take legal action against me. Because of this, I made the decision to collect this evidence.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state Police Public Relations Officer, provided a response by stating that the woman had been arrested and transferred to the revitalized gender unit of the command. He also stated that an investigation into the case was currently underway.

He stated that the suspect had been taken into custody. She is very far along in her pregnancy and has been allowed to return home. She will be traveling all the way from her house to the station.

She will receive adequate medical care while the investigation is ongoing thanks to a partnership between the newly revitalized gender unit of the command and the Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency. “The case has been transferred to the rejuvenated gender unit of the command.”
