Governor Darius Dickson’s hopes of handing over his voting district in the state’s Takum Local Government Council to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar have proven to be a mirage.
After sorting through the results, it was discovered that the PDP presidential candidate was lagging behind the Labour Party presidential candidate.

The presidential candidate of the PDD received 64 votes, while Peter Obi was reported to have received 211 votes.
The LP Presidential candidate was also seen to be in the lead outside of the polling unit in the state.
