Davido, a Nigerian singer born David Adeleke, has promised to give away N20 million to twenty people today.
On Wednesday, the singer made the promise via his verified Twitter account.
“Country is hard right now sha,” he said. On Friday, let’s give 20 m to 20 people… Send us your business or startup concepts… #Wrblo will provide more information in the near future.”

Over 150,000 people have reacted to Davido’s post, indicating that Nigerians are expecting the promise to be fulfilled.
Davido gave 250 million naira to orphanage homes in Nigeria earlier this year.
In November, the singer used the gesture to commemorate his 29th birthday.
