Former Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s supporters say the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now on the right track.
On the APC front, the Ogun State faction claimed to have the ace, urging elected party officers to be vigilant and aware of their responsibilities.
President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly removed Governor Mai Mala Buni as APC interim chairman.

To stop the APC national convention on March 26, Buni allegedly planned a ‘secret’ court order.
Buni was reportedly replaced in acting capacity by Niger State Governor Abubakar Sanni Bello on Monday.
Chief Derin Adebiyi, the APC’s Ogun factional chairman, said God is greater than individuals who would not have believed on Sunday that they would no longer be party leaders on Monday.

Adebiyi urged Ogun APC chieftains gathered in Abeokuta on Wednesday not to allow “corrupt and immoral merchants in politics” to supplant the party’s interests or deceive unsuspecting members for votes.
“You must be aware of your party positions and know what you are doing. I don’t expect you to mingle with opponents posing as party members. You must keep an eye out for nocturnal meetings and movements. “Avoid traps.”

According to reports, the Amosun and Governor Dapo Abiodun factions are fighting for the party’s soul in Ogun State.
