As APC’s Leadership Crisis Worsens, Dino Melaye Mocks The Party, Saying, “Rest In peace.”

Senator Dino Melaye, a former lawmaker, has mocked the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the wake of the party’s current leadership crisis.

Recall that Niger State Governor Sani Bello reportedly took over the party’s Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC, on Monday, ejecting his Yobe State counterpart, Governor Mai Mala Bun.

Bello received a report from the APC’s zoning committee shortly after meeting at the party’s secretariat ahead of the March National Convention.

Bello, on the other hand, stated that he only presided over the CECPC meeting because Buni was not present.

The drama, which has shocked and perplexed most Nigerians, has elicited reactions from party stakeholders and political analysts, with many describing Bello’s actions as unjust.

Dino, a governorship aspirant in Kogi State, responded by mocking the party and declaring it dead.

“Rest In Peace APC: 2014 – 2022,” Dino wrote on his Facebook page. I am eight years old. He left us far too soon. SDM is the announcer.
