Governor Abdullahi Sule has been named ‘Best Governor in Primary Education and Rural Development’ by the Nasarawa Progressive Youth Development Association (NPYDA).

Governor Sule was honored by TheNigerian News, a UK-based media group, at an event in Abuja on Thursday to commemorate its fifth anniversary.

Other notable Nigerians honored at the event included Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Ambassador Tukur Buratai, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, and Rev Yakubu Pam, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission.

The Royal Father of the Day was His Royal Highness, Justice Sidi Bage (rtd), Emir of Lafia, and the event was chaired by Senator George Akume, Honourable Minister of Special Duties.

Sule was nominated for using the company’s technology, according to the company “Basic education as a tool to combat insecurity and other criminal activities, a model that other states are following. This has put the state on a path toward socioeconomic development ”

The NPYDA congratulated the governor and added that the governor “has taken a multi-faceted approach to reducing poverty and increasing wealth and employment. The establishment of a rural transformation agency is a game changer that has brought the government closer to rural areas and increased business activity, reducing insecurity to a significant degree ”

Governor Sule has also impressed the group in other aspects of governance, including infrastructure, security, and the economy, according to a statement signed by its President, Suleiman Adamu.

As a result, the Nasarawa youths gave the governor a vote of confidence, endorsing him for a second term.

The group, on the other hand, urged other governors across the country to follow Governor Sule’s lead.
