Civil servants and the general public are currently barred from entering government offices in Abuja unless they have confirmation of vaccination and a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.
Remember that the presidential steering group on COVID-19, led by Boss Mustapha, announced in October that civil personnel without proof of vaccination and negative PCR testing will be barred from entering government premises as of December 1, 2021.
The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) had requested that the extension be extended until March 2022. However, due to the events of this morning, no extension was given.
