EbonyLife Productions and Studios, owned by Mo Abudu, has teamed up with BBC Studios in the United Kingdom to produce the big-budget series Reclaim.
Abudu announced a development deal with BBC Studios Drama Productions for the upcoming series, which will take the heist thriller genre in a new direction.
Reclaim, according to Abudu, will be a six-part series based on an original concept by Abudu, Heidi Uys, and Bode Asiyanbi.

BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Rowan Athale wrote Reclaim, according to Abudu.
Abudu expressed her excitement over the production’s first high budget picture, which was facilitated by Creative Arts Agency (CAA).
“Reclaim is our first big-budget, international series, based in part in the United Kingdom.” It’s a dream come true for two reasons: first, it’s a collaboration with BBC Studios, and second, it’ll be the first project for EbonyLife Productions UK.

“We established EbonyLife in London as part of our global goal to expand into the United Kingdom. We should regard ourselves as world citizens as Nigerians and Africans, and our storytelling, places, and networks should go out to every corner of the planet. I’m ecstatic at the prospect of expanding our reach into the UK with a compelling tale and a formidable partner.”
The Reclaim series follows a group of art thieves who are attempting to restore artworks taken from the Kingdom of Benin by the British Empire 125 years ago to their home in Nigeria.
