When armed robbers invaded an old generation bank in Aramoko-Ekiti, they killed a police officer and a special marshall of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
After work had ended, the robbers stormed the bank via Igede-Ado-Ekiti Road, according to a source.
The armed thieves smashed out the main door to the banking hall with explosives thought to be dynamite, according to the source.

He went on to say that the gun-wielding thieves had shot a police officer on duty before blowing up the front door.
