Mr. Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, the Governor of Jigawa State, has raised concern about the rising number of reports of missing children in certain of the state’s local government areas.

Abubakar asked parents in the state to be more vigilant in monitoring their children’s movements.

Mr Habibu Nuhu Kila, the state governor’s spokesman, said in a statement issued yesterday in Dutse that the state governor’s advise was prompted by reports of missing children in certain local government areas of the state.
