Victor Osimhen has been lauded by legendary Italy and Inter Milan defender Giuseppe Bergomi ahead of the Nerazzurri’s match against Napoli at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this weekend.
The Nigerian international will be anxious to add to his goal total after going goalless in his past three league appearances before the season’s final international break.
Bergomi emphasized Osimhen’s importance to Inter Milan’s chances of beating Napoli, naming the Nigerian striker as the player who has impressed him the most this season.
Osimhen, according to the 1982 World Cup winner, has the same influence as Romelu Lukaku did at Inter Milan before moving to Chelsea.

Bergomi told Il Mattino via Stylo24 that it would have been difficult for him to mark Osimhen: “Mine was another football, but Osimhen gave me a good impression, he has speed and physical power.”
“I have to say, he is the striker who has most impressed me in this championship.”
After impressing for the Super Eagles in World Cup qualifying matches against Liberia and Cape Verde, Osimhen returned to training at Napoli yesterday.
