Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer provides an update on the detention of the IPOB leader

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has provided an update on the pro-Biafra leader.

Kanu, according to Ejiofor, is firm in his convictions and is in good spirits despite being imprisoned.

The lawyer revealed this during a routine visit to the IPOB leader at the Department of State Services (DSS) headquarters on Thursday.

“UPDATE: I just left the DSS Headquarters now with my colleagues, after our routine visit to Our Client – Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,” Ejiofor wrote on Facebook.

“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a man of strong convictions and a high spirit.

“We spent a lot of time talking about our professional services, which we kept private.

“May Chukwuokike’s Mighty Name be exalted forever. “Victory is unquestionably ours.”

Kanu has been detained by the DSS since his re-arrest and repatriation to Nigeria.

The IPOB leader was apprehended and returned to Kenya from an unspecified African country.

Kanu’s detention by the DSS was ordered by Justice Binta Nyako of the Abuja Federal High Court after his repatriation to Nigeria.

The secret police, on the other hand, were unable to produce the IPOB leader in court last week.

Justice Nyako had adjourned the case until October due to his inability to appear in court.
