Nigerians have applauded President Muhammadu Buhari and the military for the safe release of hundreds of abducted schoolboys in Kankara, Katsina.
Using the hashtag ‘#OurBoysAreBack’ on Twitter, the Nigerians expressed gratitude for another successful operation by the military.
Recall that Special adviser to the Katsina State governor on security Ibrahim Kastina confirmed the release of the students to the news media on Thursday night.
“Alhamdulillah. The boys have been rescued and are now at Tsafe, Zamfara State. But, we shall be moving them to Kankara tomorrow (Friday),” he said.
Governor Aminu Masari also confirmed that no ransom was paid for the release, facilitated by the leadership of MACABAN/Miyetti Allah.
