Galadima said farther that the demographic crisis, characterized by a higher speed of out-of-school kids, youth bulge in the population census, higher dependency ratio; also as high unemployment, was leading to conflicts over resources, insecurity, violence and youth restiveness.

To tackle the emergency, the SEC 42, who spent his research period researching the topic, requested the President to approve the revised National Population Policy 2019 and guarantee a successful implementation of this policy.
