Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has moved out of the government house in Umuahia after testing positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19), APR can report.
A government official who didn’t want to be mentioned told this website that Ikpeazu was moved out of the governor’s lodge to Abuja following the confirmation that he was COVID-19 positive.
The governor had recently fallen sick, prompting him to undergo two separate tests for the virus.
While the first test returned negative, a second test carried out on him by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) returned positive.
