Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari is dead.
The Presidency made this announce at past midnight today.
The message reads: The Presidency regrets to announce the passage of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari.
The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19, and had been receiving treatment. But he died on Friday, April 17, 2020.
May God accept his soul.
Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.

The deceased is thought to be an extremely strong pillar in the presidency to the extent that the President himself asked ministers who needed to see him on appointment to book through ABBA Kyari.
Social media messages are already pouring in.. one of such is from Dino Melaye who sympathises with the family of Abba Kyari including the presidency.
His tweet reads: May the soul of Abba Kyari the chief of staff to Mr President rest in peace. May God grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Everyone must complete this circle someday. Be prepared.
