The Chairman of Otukpo LGA and ALGON Chairman, Benue South, Hon George Alli today, Friday 19th December, 2019, said late Hon Momoh Simon Uji lived a worthy life that was cut short by untimely death.
Hon Alli made this statement today while paying glowing tribute and last respect to Late Hon Momoh Simon Uji, former PDP Chairman, Otukpo LGA at the burial ceremony of the late iconic party leader in his home town,Adoka Okpeje amidst tears by mourners, party leaders, friends, well wishers and members of his bereaved family. He said late late Momoh was a great and righteous man who believed in equity and fairness as the yardsticks for justice and peaceful democratic system, saying late Momoh has left a vacuum that would be very difficult to fill. He prayed that God in His infinite would give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and eternal rest of his soul.
Speaking earlier at the burial ceremony, member representing the good people of Adoka/Ugboju State Constituency at the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon Michael Audu, lamented the untimely death Of Late Hon Momoh Uji, describing him as a Peace Loving Man whose words of advice would be missed greatly. He prayed that God Almighty grant his soul Eternal Rest.
Also speaking, the immediate Deputy Speaker and the member representing the good people of Otukpo State Constituency at the 8th Benue State House of Assembly, Hon Egli Johnson Ahubi, said the news about the demise of late Momoh came as a rude shock to him, saying God gives, takes and his action can’t be questioned.He also prayed for the repose of the soul of late Momoh.
