Kemi Ikuseedun aka Mummy Wa, a Nigerian content creator cum Nollywood actress, has responded to the insinuation that her being a strong and independent woman affects her relationships.

Mummy Wa in an interview with Punch said she does not entertain people who feel intimidated by strong women, according to reports.

“I would say no because only mentally secure people will be attracted to me. I’m not going to put up with people intimidated by strong women. “I attract men who like strong women.

Ikuseedun said one of the hardest things about being a creative is consistency, particularly when juggling multiple projects and ideas.

“The hardest part for me is showing up and being consistent amidst other things one is doing,” she said. There’s so many projects and ideas so in the midst of all these one has to consistently show up for the things one has already done and it’s crazy. “Just showing up, being better than your version of yesterday, consistently.”

She said the biggest challenge facing creatives in Nigeria is finance. “You need money to bring your ideas to life,” she stressed.

“Yeah, I think money is a problem for everybody in Nigeria,” she said. I think the biggest challenge, especially in the entertainment industry, is the financial part of it. Sometimes it’s the money that’s just not there to bring the passion, creativity and ideas to life. “Sometimes one asks himself, ‘Should I keep on doing what I like to do or go for something else that will bring in so much money and one won’t have to stress oneself so much?’”
