Ganduje: Kano Will Again Lead in APC Membership Figures in 2027

All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Kano State have decided to start publicly endorsing President Bola Tinubu as the party’s only presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, according to former governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

According to reports, Ganduje made the statement during the last meeting of a four-day strategy meeting that he hosted at his Kano home. The meeting included APC chairmen, caucus members, and important stakeholders from all 44 local government areas.

According to Ganduje, the meetings were intended to improve internal cohesiveness and restore trust within the party in front of 2027.

“The purpose of this meeting over the last three days has been to ensure complete unity in our party from top to bottom and to reaffirm our solidarity with the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he stated.

He claimed that the dedication and attendance of delegates from all around the state demonstrated their will to maintain the APC’s dominance in Kano and across the country.

The former governor revealed that 44 LGA party executives had asked for permission to start making public statements in support of President Tinubu’s second-term campaign.

Ganduje declared, “We have decided that all local governments in the state should gather their party officials, stakeholders, and supporters to make a public pronouncement endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as our sole candidate for 2027.”

In order to improve grassroots mobilization, he ordered that all APC offices in LGAs and wards be promptly reopened and fully operational.

In advance of the APC’s anticipated start of its digital registration drive, Ganduje stated that the party would quickly send out ICT specialists.

The former governor reminded party members that Kano needed to recover the title for the highest APC membership figures in the nation.

“For the e-registration activity, each local government must supply three computer specialists who will receive training at the state headquarters. We guarantee that Kano will generate the greatest number of registered party members once more,” he declared.

Ganduje also called on party leaders to step up their efforts to encourage eligible individuals, particularly first-time voters, to register early for the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) ongoing voter registration drive.

He emphasized that as the 2027 election preparations get traction, the APC in Kano must continue to be well-organized, fully mobilized, and strategically positioned.
