‘I Wanted to Kill Myself Because My Family Opposed My Marriage to Ned Nwoko’ – Regina Daniels

Regina Daniels, a well-known Nollywood actress, has pleaded with Nigerians to refrain from making fun of her mother Rita Daniels because of her marital problems.

According to reports, Regina’s family members have accused her separated husband Ned Nwoko of detaining her brother and threatening to keep him there until she chooses to return home and seek treatment.

The actress’s cries that her husband was abusing her were captured in a widely shared film, which caused a schism between the two.

The actress, however, addressed the matter in a video posted on her Instagram page, claiming that her mother was not at fault for her choice.

She claims that because she was in love, she disregarded her family’s advice not to wed Nwoko.

The mother of two claimed that when her family attempted to prevent her from getting married to the millionaire, she ran away from home in the middle of the night.
