Abia State Governor Alex Otti has stated that he is faithful and devoted to the Labour Party (LP).
The governor stated this at an interactive session with Abia State Global Economic Council members in Umuahia.
He added that he has neither attended or been invited to any meetings hosted by the coalition group.
Otti claimed that he is too busy completing the work assigned to him by the Abia people to consider where he should decamp.

In response to the claim of a crisis in the Labour Party, the Abia State Governor stated that the party had a problem and fought through the Supreme Court to reclaim it.
He went on: “I am still a member of the Labour Party, I am not looking for where to decamp to.”
When asked about the coalition, Otti said, “Have you seen my name?” Have you seen me at any coalition meetings? We are preoccupied with the work that the Abia people have assigned us. We are not attending any coalition gathering. Nobody invited me, and I am content where I am. You don’t run away from a problem and claim to have addressed it.”
