The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has shut off the headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja’s Wuse district.
The building was sealed at roughly 2:05 PM on Monday.
FCTA officials were claimed to have arrived at the scene and directed the security guard to consult with the appropriate authorities.

The FCTA said this week that it will begin taking ownership of 4,794 properties that have been revoked due to non-payment of ground rent for periods ranging from 10 to 43 years, beginning Monday, May 26, 2025.
The administration stated that they will take custody of these assets regardless of their ownership status.
Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, along with the Director of Land Administration, Chijioke Nwankwoeze, and the Director of the Department of Development Control, Mukhtar Galadima, made the announcement during a news conference in Abuja on Friday.
Recall that on March 19, 2025, the administration withdrew the Wadata Plaza, which acts as the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) national secretariat in Wuse Zone 5, due to repeated failures to pay ground rent.
