President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the N-Power program to be reformed in order to increase its effectiveness and impact.
Nentawe Yilwatda, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, reportedly revealed this.
“The reform will ensure that acquired skills translate into viable job opportunities by directly connecting youths to the private sector and market space,” he said.
In an X post on Saturday, Dada Olusegun, Tinubu’s social media assistant, stated that more than 100,000 goods had been purchased to empower young people nationwide.
“The reform aims to connect youth not only through training but also by connecting them directly to the market space and private sector, whereby acquired skills are translated into viable job opportunities,” he wrote.
In support of this, more than 100,000 items have been purchased to empower young people across.
The minister further stated that N32.7 billion has been allocated by President Tinubu to conduct the National Social Investment Program in 2025.

“Cooperative clusters will provide low-interest loans of N300,000 to N400,000 to Nigerians.
Through the development or expansion of small companies, the project seeks to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable Nigerians, especially women and young people.
“All Nigerians who have had to endure continuous economic reforms as the administration works to realize the #RenewedHope Agenda will reap rewards in 2025.”
