In 2024, 29 individuals were detained by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Enugu State for a variety of offenses.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Friday, State Commandant Dr. Elijah Willie said this.
According to Willie, among the offenses are fraud, theft, impersonation, and vandalism of important national assets.
He claims that the leadership also conducted numerous meetings and campaigns to raise awareness of communal harmony in communities that were having trouble reaching peaceful agreements.
In order to defend national, state, and private properties, he said, the command also conducted special patrols during holidays and festive times.
According to Willie, six individuals were separately arrested for damaging train lines with the cars used to transport the goods—one of the command’s major arrests.
