Three Airtel employees and one other civilian were killed in Gumki village, which is located in the Arewa Local Government Area of Kebbi State and is a border town between Nigeria and the Niger Republic, according to police in Kebbi State.
Three Airtel employees and one civilian, a local native, were killed when armed bandits broke into the construction site where Airtel employees were erecting a mast for immigration, according to a statement released by police image maker SP Nafiu Abubakar on Saturday.
Following receipt of the report, CP Bello M. Sani and Muhammad Bashir Lawali, the Kebbi State Comptroller of Immigration, promptly mobilized to the scene and evacuated the bodies to Sir Yahya Memorial Hospital in Birnin Kebbi, the statement continued.

He went on to say that in order to effectively combat the Lakurawa bandits who are terrorizing the area, the police commissioner has reorganized the area’s security system and sent out extra tactical squads.
He asked local security agencies to cooperate in order to restrain armed bandits at a meeting with stakeholders in the impacted village. Additionally, he urged the public to report suspicious activity and work with security officials.
