Ganduje: APC Unity Key to Reclaiming Kano from NNPP

Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, has urged Kano State party members to unite in their struggle against the ruling New Nigeria Peoples Party.

Speaking on behalf of the state APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, at the 8th and 9th APC Kano State House of Assembly Forum dinner honoring Rt. Hon. Kabiru Rurum, Rt. Hon. Hamisu Chidari, and Rt. Hon. Yusuf Atta, among others, Mr. Ganduje said that members should not let their differences split them.

He claimed that since the current government was mishandling the state, God had already stepped in to save them and that “unity is the only way out for us; it’s the only avenue available for us to have what we want.”

“If it weren’t for our internal problems, he wouldn’t have won any elections in the state,” he said, dismissing NNPP leader Rabiu Kwankwaso’s brag about his popularity. He urged his APC party members to be prepared for the work that lies ahead.

In a similar vein, Yusuf Ata, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, who also called on party members to come together, said that if the party organized its house, it would win the elections with ease. “Let’s just pray and go forward together. He stated, “The state is not in good hands under the current leadership, so we must work towards reclaiming Kano.”

Abdul’azeez Gafasa, the Forum’s chairman, welcomed the honorees and promised that the forum would keep working to uplift its members and maintain unity.

In the midst of calls for a team effort to restore the APC’s dominance in Kano State, the event honored the achievements of APC leaders and members who had profited from federal appointments.
