In Kebbi, Lakurawa terrorist group kill two policemen, steal over 200 cows

In an attack on Natsini village in Kebbi State’s Argungu Local Government Area, gunmen believed to be affiliated with the Lakurawa terrorist organization killed two police officers and took more than 200 cows.

According to reports, the attack happened on Thursday night at approximately 11 p.m. close to a checkpoint on the Augie/Kangiwa route.

According to witnesses, the more than fifty attackers on motorbikes overran the checkpoint officials before moving on to the village to rustle the cattle.

The Argungu Local Government Area chairman, Aliyu Gulma, acknowledged the event and said that a security meeting had been called to address the issue.
