Lagos Police Arrest Alleged Foreign Fraudsters

Two alleged international scammers who specialize in fabricating diplomas from several African and international colleges have been taken into custody by Lagos State police.

Elvis Osakpolo Edokpain and Kelly Osas Endgieen, the suspects, are accused of specializing in online fraud against their gullible victims. With the money they have amassed, they have been able to purchase exotic cars and build homes across the nation.

Police sources in Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos, claim that after investigators at the zone’s Anti-Corruption Unit obtained reliable information from sources outside of Nigeria about a group of lads who specialize in forging foreign certifications, the tables turned against the accused.

After receiving the information, it was learned that Adegoke Fayoude, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the area, assigned a specific anti-corruption squad to look into it and issued instructions for them to be apprehended right away.

According to police sources, detectives stormed Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, on his orders. As soon as the suspects arrived, they were followed to the five-star Osapa-London hotel in Lekki, where they were later confronted at the bus stop as they attempted to flee the hotel.

It was discovered that during the check of their luggage, Kenny Osas’s student ID card from Academic City College and Elvis Osakpolo Edokpiain’s Blue Crest College, Ghana certificate were found.

After more investigation, a transcript of Elvis Osapolo’s Blue Crest University academic record was found.

During their additional search, detectives found a recommendation letter and a letter of English competency from the same Blue Crest College.

During questioning, the suspects provided the police with helpful testimonies and admitted that they were never admitted to the institution but obtained their degree diploma with the assistance of a female Nigerian living in Ghana.
