The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) has appealed to Nigerians to shun the planned protest against the Federal Government.
A group of Nigerians had planned a nationwide protest tagged: “EndBadGovernance” from August 1 to 10 to drive home their grievances over alleged corruption, insecurity, and other problems in the country.
The APC National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Basiru, made the call while briefing journalists at the end of the NWC meeting on Wednesday in Abuja.
He urged Nigerians to have confidence and belief in the ability of the present government to address the economic challenges facing the country.

Basiru said: “The APC has joined President Bola Tinubu to passionately appeal to those who are planning protests to shelve their plans.
“And have confidence and belief in the government to address most of the economic challenges facing the nation.”
The APC national secretary noted that the present administration met several challenges, especially on the economy since it came on board in 2023.
He added that the president was gradually implementing programmes and policies that would bring succour to the citizens in the future.
