Felix Osagie, 36, has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for allegedly abducting a pastor in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Council of the state.
Osagie Felix Ologbo, a native of Edo State, was arrested yesterday with the pastor’s snatched Lexus 330 SUV, according to the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the arrest yesterday.

“On January 10, the DPO Oghara Division, CSP Jimoh Hassan, received information from the DPO new Etete Division in Benin City, that a pastor was kidnapped along with his black-colored Lexus 330 SUV marked KWL 510 BH on January 9, 2022, and that a painstaking technical intelligence revealed that the vehicle was parked along Ibori Road in Oghara,” Edafe said.
According to him, the DPO Oghara Division directed his men to the area where the said vehicle was spotted, and upon seeing the vehicle, operatives set up an ambush and waited for the suspects to arrive, which they did, but two of them escaped into the bush when the police pursued them.
He went on to say that luck was not on Osagie Felix’s side, who later confessed to being a member of the kidnapping ring that kidnapped the pastor in Benin.

According to Edafe, Osagie led the operatives to the Freedom View Hotel in Oghareki, where they were hibernating, and when the operatives searched his room, they discovered a cut-to-size double-barrel pistol, six live cartridges, and N410, 000, which was part of the N500, 000 ransom payment, as well as a double barrel pistol, ten live cartridges, and a laptop.
He went on to say that the victim’s vehicle had been taken to the station and that efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects had been stepped up.
