Alhaji Ibrahim Bello Mohammed, also known as IBM, is the victor of the Birnin-Kebbi, Kalgo, and Bunza Federal Constituency election that took place on February 25. He is the younger brother of the late Barrister Abba Bello Mohammed and the son of former PDP National Chairman Dr. Bello Mohammed Haliru.

Ibrahim Bello Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) received a total of 50,781 votes, according to Abbas Aliyu Bazata, the INEC Returning Officer at the State Collation Center in Birnin-Kebbi, the state capital. Having received the most votes, Mohammed won the election after counting and collating the ballots, defeating his closest rivals from the APC, Professor Muktar Bunza who scored 37,478 and Barrister Bello Relisco of SDP who scored 7,880, respectively.
He announced that Ibrahim Bello Mohammed of the PDP had won and been re-elected as the representative for Birnin-Kebbi, Kalgo, and Bunza Federal Constituency in Kebbi State after meeting all legal requirements.
Ibrahim Bello Mohammed is reputed to be the youngest elected lawmaker in the history of the nation at the age of 27, having been replaced and confirmed by the party following the untimely and anticipated passing of his elder brother.

After the announcement, Ibrahim Bello Mohammed spoke with reporters and expressed his sincere gratitude to the good people of the Birnin-Kebbi, Kalgo, and Bunza Federal Constituency for choosing him to represent and serve them at the 10th Assembly.
He assured them that he is ready to serve the people and will use his youthful prowess to lead a charge of immense growth and development across the federal constituency.
