Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has no support in Kano State, according to Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ganduje stated that as the Kwankwasiyya movement is carried out in Kano State, Kwankwaso should anticipate reality in 2027.
He gave a speech at yesterday’s 8th and 9th APC Kano State House of Assembly Forum Dinner, which was hosted in honor of notable party members.
Speaking on behalf of APC Chairman Abdullahi Abbas, Ganduje stated that people who previously backed Kwankwaso are now regretting their decision.
“Whenever Rabiu Kwankwaso says he has the support of the people, I am always shocked,” he stated.
“I can promise you that he (Kwankwaso) would not have won any elections in Kano if it weren’t for our internal problems. He’s going to see the truth this time.
“Those who previously backed him are regretful and disillusioned. Kwankwasiyya is finished, and not even the governor is aware of what is going on in his immediate surroundings.

Additionally, he urged the state’s APC members to band together in order to retake Kano from the NNPP in 2027.
“The only way out for us is unity. It’s the only way we can accomplish our objectives. God has already stepped in to help us.
“The state is being distorted by the current administration, and we are simply waiting for the ideal moment.” “Moving a hen away from its eggs will be like the next election,” he continued.
