According to the Nigerian Hajj Commission (NAHCON), 34,647 pilgrims from Madina have already arrived in Makkah to complete the Hajj ceremonies for 2025
Alhaji Alidu Shutti, the Deputy Coordinator of the NAHCON Office in Makkah, revealed this to Makkah reporters on Monday.
According to Shutti, the Director of Inspectorate and Compliance, the commission was ready to help the pilgrims enjoy a seamless Hajj experience‶
As of yesterday (Sunday), we have received 34,647. I would want to use this opportunity to let you know that everything is going well so far.
As I speak to you, however, some pilgrims have been led to their lodgings in Makkah, and we would like to let you know that we are on track.
“We are ready to help Allah’s guests so they can perform the Hajj Mabur,” he declared.
He claims that the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and service providers have been meeting with NAHCON on a regular basis.
These update sessions have been held even at the deputy ministerial level in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj.
And throughout the discussion, we went over our operations’ level, our past actions, and our future plans. It is simply to ensure that everything is done in order for the Hajj activities to be successful,” he stated.
The Saudi authorities were also praised by Shutti for providing the commission with the consular support it needed to ensure the Hajj was a success.
The Nigerian embassy in Riyadh and the Nigerian Consulate-General in Jeddah are our primary hosts in the kingdom, and we would want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to them.
They have been incredibly helpful and wonderful. For the Hajj to be successful, they have been providing the commission with the required consular support,” he stated.
The NAHCON representative also praised the staff members’ cooperation and teamwork in delivering effective and efficient services to the pilgrims.
He claims that in order to guarantee the success of the Hajj activities, everyone is working nonstop.
We have the task of serving Allah’s guests in an efficient and effective manner.
In accordance with the terms of the contract signed with the service provider, it is also to guarantee that the pilgrims’ money is used for the services and that they are rendered appropriately.

We have people from the commission that keep an eye on the services, I should also let you know. We have compliance and inspectorate personnel.
“They are to keep an eye on whether they are delivering the services they have committed to.
We also have representatives from evaluation and monitoring. He said, “They are to keep an eye on and assess the kind of services being provided to the pilgrims.”
This is to make sure that Allah’s visitors receive nothing but the best, according to Shutti.
